What is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a highly effective, evidence-based approach to helping individuals develop meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that may interfere with learning and daily life. ABA focuses on understanding behavior, teaching new skills, and promoting positive change through individualized strategies. At Autism Unboxed, LLC, we use compassionate, client-centered ABA techniques to empower individuals and families, helping each person reach their fullest potential.

How do I enroll my child?

Please reach out via email or use the "contact us" button for more information and to schedule an initial assessment. Preliminary paperwork and insurance approval may be required. 

What insurances do you accept?

We currently accept Anthem, Aetna, Molina, Caresource, United Health Care, and Medical Mutual. If you have an insurance plan that is not listed, please contact us. 

Does my child need a diagnosis to receive ABA therapy with Autism Unboxed?

Yes, all insurances and Medicaid do require an autism diagnosis. 

What age groups do you serve?

We serve children ages 2-18 years old.

Where do sessions take place?

Therapy sessions can take place at our clinic, in-home, or in the community depending on clinical necessity, client needs, and schedules.

How are therapy goals and number of therapy hours determined?

Goals are developed based on assessments, input from the family, and the client’s developmental needs. They are regularly reviewed and updated as progress is made. After assessment, we will create a personalized plan that outlines recommended hours.

What does a typical ABA session look like?

Sessions are fun, active, and goal-focused. They may involve structured teaching, natural play, practicing daily living skills, and working on communication and social interaction.
